FAMILY LIFE MINISTRY OVERVIEW
We have the privilege of leading the next generation of leaders up into loving God and being a light to the world around them. Here at RCC we encourage parents to be involved and intentional in executing the Deuteronomy 6 Model daily, all year round, to spiritually develop a child. In this church-fed, parent-led ministry model, the church partners (assists) with families to advance a child’s spiritual growth and make God’s truths relevant and real to their life.

OUR STRATEGY
By creating unforgettable environments where kids feel known and valued, and by providing the knowledge and gear that propels parents to advance the spiritual growth of their child. This strategy is designed to maximize our opportunity to win kids to Christ while building strong families at the same time. We will continue to strive to take advantage of every ministry moment and opportunity, but also spend time, money and energy in partnering with parents to build on what is learned in church.
NURSERY:
It starts with our youngest children, our infants up to 2 year olds. We want to provide a safe and fun environment for your young ones to be ministered to by our trained ministry workers. We know that it is not always easy to be away from Mom and Dad, so each week your baby has the chance to see the same smiley faces of our nursery staff. In our Nursery we don't believe in a babysitting mentality we believe in quality care and ministry to your child.
PRESCHOOL & KINDERGARTEN:
For our pre-elementary children we have both a full-service 3-4 year old class and a 5-6 year old class that starts its fun just as soon as the worship is over upstairs. We believe that at this vital age that we must teach our kids these three things:
- God created them.
- Jesus loves them
- God wants to be their best friend
ELEMENTARY:
With fun, exciting games, loud worship, mulimedia and video, big-group teaching, and small group empowering our elementary kids learn to know God and treat others with respect. Each week we make our one "Power Point" in many different ways so that our kids walk away sure of what our main point of the week was. We get them excited about God in our big group time and then sit down with them in small groups to build relationship and provide time for more individual mentoring. We believe that this age is so vital to the spiritual growth of each child and that the seeds we are planting witll last for eternity!
